Documents can be created in your Personal Workspace to remain confidential. This ensures that only you can access and manage them, while members of any shared workspaces will not be able to view or edit these documents.
Requirements
No special permissions are needed to create private documents but we recommend creating a new workspace even if you’ll be working alone.
Instructions
Check which workspace you are currently in.
Look at the top right corner of your screen. It should display your name followed by the workspace name.
Switch to your Personal Workspace if needed.
Click the workspace dropdown button in the top right corner.
Select Personal Workspace from the dropdown list.
Create your document as usual.
Any documents created in this workspace will automatically remain private.
Confirm privacy.
Expected Outcome
Documents created in your Personal Workspace are only visible to you.
Shared workspace members will not see these documents.
You can manage, edit, or delete your personal documents independently of shared workspace activity.
Any documents you have signed previously will also appear in your personal workspace.
FAQs
Can members of my shared workspace see documents in my Personal Workspace?
No. Personal Workspace documents are fully private and cannot be accessed by other workspace members.
Can I move a document from my Personal Workspace to a shared workspace later?
Yes. You can copy or move the document once it’s created, but doing so will make it visible to the selected shared workspace members.
