Can I send a document via WhatsApp/SMS?

Yes, once the document has been delivered conventionally via Email you may generate a separate signing link and provide it to the signer via WhatsApp or in a direct email (Outlook etc). Please note that this will deliver a signing link to the recipient via WhatsApp/SMS - they will still need to access the document by providing a One Time Pin for security reasons.

This can be done by either:

• Generating a separate signing link after delivering via email

• Delivering directly via WhatsApp* (Not compliant within the Financial Sector)

*Additional charges apply for Direct WhatsApp/SMS sending

Generating a separate signing link after delivering via email

  1. After sending the document you will be redirected to the home screen (Document list)
  2. Click on the required document to access it.
  3. Click Actions > Generate Signing Link
  4. You will then be able to copy the link and paste it via a Chat Service (WhatsApp etc) or in a Direct Email from your Outlook account

Delivering directly via WhatsApp

This functionality allows you to deliver a signing request directly via SMS or WhatsApp, omitting the email address. Please note that this feature is billed at an additional rate and is not compliant with legislation requiring 2-factor authentication (Legal agreements, Financial Sector etc).
