Auto-initial
Auto-initial allows you to set up a document such that:
- You don't have to manually set up the 'Initial' field on every page of a long document.
- Your signers don't have to click on every page of a long document to insert their initial.
To setup Auto-initial:
- Insert an 'Initial' field on the first page where you would like your signer to initial - make sure you assign it to a signer.
- Where more than one signer needs to initial the document, place the corresponding number of initial fields on the first page and assign them to each signer.
- On the field menu that appears, click 'Repeat across pages' to insert the initial block in the same place on the rest of the document.
- Scroll through the document to ensure that your chosen location does not cover any text on the subsequent pages.
- To avoid your signers having to click on every page to insert their initial, go to 'Document settings' and tick 'Signers can click once to insert initials on all pages'.
