What’s the difference between Documents and Templates?

Documents are linked to specific signers or groups of signers for one-time use.

Templates are reusable versions of documents that allow you to send the same document to different signers multiple times without repeating the setup process.


  • When should I use a template?

    Templates are ideal when you frequently send the same document to different signers without needing to modify the content. By saving a document as a template with all fields configured, you'll save significant time on future sends.


  • How do templates work?

    Once you've created a template, simply add the signer's details (name, email, and mobile number for one-time PINs) and send it for signature, all the fields and settings are already in place
