Cookie Issues

If, when trying to sign a document, you are asked to either login or register an account, you might be experiencing a cookie-related issue.

Note:

  • Cookies store browser 'sessions' e.g. who's authenticated on our application.
  • When cookies are enabled on your browser; every time you click on 'View document' in the signature request, your browser posts back to the server, letting our application know you're authenticated and what action you can perform. 
  • So when cookies are disabled on your browser, our application has no way of knowing who clicked the 'View document' link (because it can't authenticate) so it takes you to the login screen.
To gain successful access to the document, please:
  1. Copy the ' View document' link in the signature request email you received (right-click on ' View document' then click ' Copy link address') and paste it into Google Chrome.
If this does not resolve your issue, try enabling your cookies or contact the document owner directly, by clicking the 'Reply to' link displayed in the email.
